Kaylee Naden-Shoats

Owner, Artistic Director Choreographer & Lead Instructor

Ms. Kaylee is the Owner, Artistic Director, Lead Instructor and Choreographer of Feel the Rhythm Dance Studio. She is extremely grateful to continue to build the wonderful legacy of Feel the Rhythm. Born and raised in the Mon Valley, she graduated from Belle Vernon Area High School and continued her education at Penn State University where she received her BA in Advertising as well as a Minor in Psychology.

Ms. Kaylee started her dance career at the age of three with Darla Kash at Darla Kash School of Dance. She studied with Ms. Darla up until 2008 and from there started her journey at FTR as soon as it was opened by Ms. Michelle Trilli. While studying at FTR, she student-taught for 3 years and came back to Feel the Rhythm in 2017 after completing college as an assistant instructor and choreographer.

Not only did she study with both Darla Kash and Michelle Trilli, but she also traveled with what was previously known as North Pittsburgh Dance Academy under the instruction of Erin Vekkeli to Florida to perform in the Magic Kingdom at the age of 11.

Kaylee was a member of the Belle Vernon Area Dance Team throughout high school and served as a co-captain her senior year. With the BVA Dance Team, she had the opportunity to travel, once again, to Orlando, Florida and perform in parades in both the Magic Kingdom and Universal Studios.

While she may not have studied dance in college, she continues to expand her dance education. Kaylee has taken multiple classes and master classes at Millennium Dance Complex: Pittsburgh as well as the Playground LA. She is also a Zumba and Zumba Gold certified instructor as well as a certified Yoga Instructor.

Ms. Kaylee loves being able to share her passion with her students and loves nothing more than to see the same passion and love spark within each student who walks through the doors of FTR. She understands that dance is a huge commitment and could not be more thankful and grateful for the parents and students who make dance such an important part of their lives. She would like to thank the parents of FTR for entrusting their children's dance education to her. It is her biggest goal to provide students with a judgment-free zone and safe place to express themselves while furthering their dance education and the love and dedication they show.

Miss Quinn is currently a Senior at Belle Vernon Area High School. She has been dancing since the age of 3. She loves dance with her whole heart. It makes her feel amazing in every way, and she's made such amazing friends along the way.

If she's not dancing, you can definitely find her watching movies and shows, along with enjoying the beach and cheering on the Belle Vernon Area Cheer Team. She is excited and honored to be student teaching this for the second time this year and she cannot wait to see what this year has in store for everyone!

Miss Aaliyah is 17 years old and a senior at Monessen High School. She has been with Feel the Rhythm since she was 9. Despite joining a little later, she quickly fell in love with dancing - so much so, that she decided to take part in sharing that passion with Feel the Rhythm's younger dancers.

When Miss Aaliyah is not at FTR, she is still keeping busy! She enjoys playing soccer, being backstage for her school's musicals and much more!

Miss Aaliyah is excited to be teaching for her senior year, as one day she hopes to be working in pediatrics! This is the perfect opportunity as she gets to do what she loves all the while preparing for her future.

Miss Alayna is a junior at Belle Vernon Area High School. She has a passion for dance and has been dancing since the age of 4.

FTR is near and dear to her heart, for it is a great dance family. She loves spending time with everybody there, sharing laughs and dancing together as a whole.

When Miss Alayna is not dancing at FTR, she enjoys reading, hanging out with family and friends, and dancing with the Belle Vernon Area Dance Team!

She is very fond of dancing and loves it very much! She is so so excited to get back to dancing at the studio with her whole dance family and to help student teach this year for the first time!
