Ms. Kaylee is happy to be back home at Feel the Rhythm, this time as the proud owner. She is extremely grateful to have been given this opportunity from Ms. Michelle and wishes to carry on the legacy of FTR that was built over the last several years. Born and raised in the Mon Valley, she attended Penn State University and received her BA in Advertising as well as a Minor in Psychology.
Ms. Kaylee started her dance career at the age of three with Darla Kash at Darla Kash School of Dance. She studied here up until 2008 and from there started with Ms. Michelle as soon as she opened Feel the Rhythm. While studying at FTR, she student-taught for 3 years and came back to Feel the Rhythm in 2017 as an assistant instructor and choreographer.
Not only did she study with both Darla Kash and Michelle, but she also traveled with what was previously known as North Pittsburgh Dance Academy under the instruction of Erin Vekkeli to Florida to perform in the Magic Kingdom at the age of 11.
Kaylee was a member of the Belle Vernon Area Dance Team throughout high school and served as a co-captain. With the BVA Dance Team, she had the opportunity to travel, again, to Orlando, Florida and perform in parades in both the Magic Kingdom and Universal Studios.
While she may not have studied dance in college, she has continued her education. Kaylee has taken classes, including master classes, at Millennium Dance Complex Pittsburgh as well as the Playground LA. She is also a Zumba and Zumba Gold certified instructor as well as a certified Yoga Instructor.
Ms. Kaylee loves being able to share her passion with her students and loves nothing more than to see the same passion and love spark within each student who walks through the doors of FTR. She understands that dance is a huge commitment and could not be more thankful and grateful for the parents and students who make dance such an important part of their lives. She would like to thank the parents of FTR for entrusting their children's dance education to her. It is her biggest goal to provide students with a judgment-free zone and safe place to express themselves while furthering their dance education and the love and dedication they show.
Ms. Michelle has over 11 years of experience of owning and operating a dance studio, one that she happily sold to Ms. Kaylee in 2019. She has several years of college instruction in Early Childhood Education and Business Financing. Her extended education has provided her with a greater understanding of how to relate to her students and their parents, which has helped her to create a thriving business and an enjoyable experience for all families who join Feel The Rhythm.
Over the past 26 years Michelle has received training in various disciplines of dance such as; ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, musical theater, modern, lyrical, and hip-hop. Her dance training began at a young age and she has studied under some of the most notable choreographers in the business. Including but not limited to; Cris Judd, Shane Sparks, Laurieann Gibson, Dave Scott, Wade Robson, Gil Duldulao, and Brian Friedman, as well as many more talented instructors from the Broadway Dance Center in New York and from some of Radio City Music Hall’s top Rockettes.
Michelle has had the pleasure of choreographing, teaching, and sharing her passion for dance with students of all ages and levels for the last 24 years. Her love for the arts and love for her students is apparent throughout every aspect of her life. She is an extraordinary woman who is a devoted, caring, and versatile dance instructor. Ms. Michelle has a true talent for inspiring and encouraging her students to always do their very best and to be the greatest dancers they can be. Her innovative approach to teaching promotes self-confidence, generates a genuine excitement for dance, and creates powerful dancers, as well as performers. Michelle's priority is always her student's happiness and her goal is to teach them the skills and techniques necessary to be amazing dancers.
"God has blessed me with the ability to reach the very depth of one's soul through the beautiful art of dance. I truly believe I have the most rewarding job in the world and I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity to share my enthusiasm for dance with my students every day. I love my students and I am very proud of their many accomplishments and thankful for their unwavering hard-work and dedication year after year. Love Always, Ms. Michelle."
Assistant Instructor & Choreographer
Ms. Sadie is so excited and so very grateful to have been given the opportunity to be part of the Feel the Rhythm family. She has attended Point Park University as a Theatre and Business Management Major for 3 years and plans to complete her Theatre degree at California University of Pennsylvania.
Ms. Sadie began dancing at age five at Darla Kash School of Dance for two years. After moving from California, PA to Washington, PA, she joined Erin Vekkeli at North Pittsburgh Dance Academy and remained studying there for 5 years. Under Erin's instruction, she's received several opportunities to perform in parades and showcases at Walt Disney World. When Ms. Sadie reached high school, she joined Dance Extensions and Performing Arts Center and continued dancing there until graduation under the instruction of Betsy Shuttleworth and Dawn Churney.
Along with her love for dance, Ms. Sadie has also found a passion for Musical Theatre and has performed in several shows. Some of her favorite roles include Lucy Van Pelt (You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown), Charity Barnum (Barnum), Dorothy Gale (The Wizard of Oz), and Amber Von Tussle (Hairspray).
Ms. Sadie is very thankful for the support, love and patience that the instructors and students have shown her during her first year of teaching at FTR. She is looking forward to this upcoming year and can't wait to share more of her passion for dance and theatre with the FTR family.

Miss Morgan is 17 years old and has been dancing for 14 years. Dance has always been an important part of her life. FTR has been her second home for over a decade. She loves the other instructors like they're her family! She started student teaching 2 years ago and, sadly, this will be her final year.
Miss Morgan is driven, hard-working and very passionate towards her goals. Dancing for all these years has developed her into the person she is today. It taught her how to be graceful, strong and to have self-confidence. She will miss dancing at FTR when she graduates, but she knows she can always come visit and feel at home.
Miss Abby is 16 years old and a junior at Charleroi Area High School. Dancing plays a huge role in her life and she has been dancing for 11 years. FTR is like a second home to her: the dancers and instructors at the studio are some of the best people she has ever been around.
This is Miss Abby's first year student teaching. She is very passionate about dance and excited to share that passion with others. Being a dancer has made her a much stronger person both mentally and physically. When she's not dancing, she enjoys hanging with her family and friends, playing with her dogs and watching Disney movies.
